Whether you want more information or need a clearer understanding of what you've been told about your health or the health of a loved one, I can help you  with interpreting the information you've received, with finding appropriate educational materials, and with setting-up a meeting with your health care team.

Perhaps you have a loved one who is in critical condition and you can't comprehend all of what's going on, or your family member is being discharged from the hospital and needs other services but you don't know how to arrange them, or you need to make end of life decisions for someone - and it's all just too much to handle.  This is the place to ask for help.  I've worked with many people to help them get through these times, and I understand the strain it puts on everyone.  I can meet with you, accompany you to physician office visits, arrange a care conference meeting at the hospital - anything you need to help you with making the best possible decisions.

Because this is a public blog, we need to respect privacy rules so that no one will feel that their identity or private information has been compromised. Please leave out what's known as "personal identifiable information" (PII) such as name, address, provider names and hospital names.
